BACOLOD City – A nurse was killed after the car she was riding hit an Acacia tree along the national highway in Barangay Basak, Zambonguita, Negros Oriental.
Police identified the fatality as the 25-year-old Kristine Bajado of Barangay Poblacion, Zamboanguita.
Bajado was with Dave Maypa and Liezel Elnar – both 28 years old – on board a Toyota Vios car that the 33-year-old Alain Sutter was driving around 3:15 a.m. on Monday.
They were from Dumaguete City bound for Zamboanguita when the accident happened.
All of them sustained injuries. They were rushed to the Silliman University Medical Center where attending physician Dr. Ritchmond Azuela pronounced Bajado “dead on arrival.”/PN
