ILOILO City – An apartment caretaker lost his .45 pistol and bicycle.

Nerny Jacosalem, 58, said he discovered the robbery on August 3.

Jacosalem worked at the Evan Peralta Compound in Barangay Kasing-kasing, Molo district. He kept his gun in a locker.

He left the apartment around 9 a.m. and when he returned around 12 noon, he saw his locker already open.

The gun cost P25,000, said Jacosalem.

He also lost his permit to carry firearm (PTCF).

Jacosalem said the robber or robbers likely used his black bicycle as getaway vehicle. It disappeared, too.

The bicycle cost P3,000, he estimated.
