CARLA Abellana shared a series of Instagram posts affirming that she will remain a Kapuso in 2024 amid rumors she is planning to transfer to other networks.
Abellana shared an Instagram reel of her upcoming series “Widow’s War” in which she wrote she will stay with the network and expressed her enthusiasm to work with Bea Alonzo, who recently transferred to GMA.
“The cats are now out of the bag. Yes, cats with an S. 1. I’m still a KAPUSO. 2. I’m finally going to be working with THE Bea Alonzo. Lord, THANK YOU,” wrote the actress.
In another post, the 37-year-old actress greeted the new year by affirming that she will remain a Kapuso. “Happy New Year to me! I’m STILL a KAPUSO!” she said.
Rumors of Abellana transferring to the other network surfaced when she was asked last September if she was open to joining any of ABS-CBN’s projects, which the actress expressed excitement about.
“Kung bibigyan po ako ng opportunity why not. My goodness I would like to be part of ‘Batang Quiapo’ pero wala naman pong offer, wala pong inaalok sa akin maging part ng ‘Batang Quiapo.’” she said.
She added: “Sa ngayon wala naman pong kahit na anong offer na maging parte ng kahit anong proyekto (ng ABS-CBN), pero kung aalukin po ako, yayain po ako, magiging open po ako ro’n.”
