BACOLOD City – Officers of the Bacolod City Police Station 6 (PS6) arrested a carnapping suspect in Green Plains Subdivision, Barangay Singcang here around 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 24.

The 40-year-old RG Martinez, a resident of Purok Rosal, Barangay Taculing, was classified as one of PS6’s most wanted persons.

He was collared through the strength of an arrest warrant for violation of Section 3 of Republic Act 10883 (Anti-Carnapping Law).

Police also seized one gram of suspected shabu worth P6,800 and a caliber .38 revolver with two bullets.

The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of PS6.

The court recommended a P300,000 bail bond for his carnapping charges./PN
