BACOLOD City – A 40-year-old carpenter was found dead floating at sea in Purok Aguihis, Barangay Canmoros, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
Randy Jalbuena was a resident of Hacienda Waning in the town’s Barangay Payao.
According to Police Major Randy Babor, chief of the Binalbagan Municipal Police Station, the victim attended the birthday party of his friend on Friday night and had a drinking session until around 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 25.
Babor said the victim was already missing that time and his friends failed to locate him.
Jalbuena’s lifeless body was found floating around 3 p.m. on the same day.
He died of drowning, Binalbagan police added./PN
