BACOLOD City – Eighty thousand pesos in cash, cellphones and prepaid load cards were stolen from a store in Purok Makawiwili, Barangay Sibucao, San Enrique, Negros Occidental, police said.
The items were discovered stolen on Tuesday, said store owner Jaime “Jessie Oh” Oh.
The 64-year-old Filipino-Chinese businessman told the police that the thief took the cash, four cellphones and prepaid load cards worth a total of P2,800.
According to investigation, the culprit gained entry by climbing the concrete fence of the compound where the store is located.
The suspect then used a “flexible plastic material” to unlock the store’s door, the police added.
The CCTV footage showed the suspect was wearing a jacket, motorcycle gloves and a cap that covered his face. He also had a big spider tattoo on the neck.
Police have yet to identify the suspect as of this writing. /PN
