Catriona Gray and her parents were robbed in London while they were on their way to the airport.
On her Instagram Stories, the beauty queen shared a photo of their car with smashed windows, revealing that their personal belongings were stolen during the robbery.
“Robbed in the middle of London, whilst stopping for lunch on the way to the airport. Our passports and belongings – gone. Traumatized,” she wrote.
The former Miss Universe has yet to share further updates about their situation following the incident.
Catriona and her parents, Ian and Mita Gray, went on a road trip in the United Kingdom in recent days.
“In the UK for a very special trip for my papa, we’re road-tripping from London through Scotland and back,” she posted last August 23.
Among the places they visited was the town where her father was born.
“Welcome back papa. Fraserburgh, my dad’s birth town — a small fishing village along the coast. Although none of the original houses my dad lived in / was born in remain, we visited the streets themselves: Barrasgate Street and explored the town,” she posted on social media on August 29.
They also explored Edinburgh, Scotland.
“It’s my first time in Scotland and my dad’s first time back to his homeland since he immigrated to Australia at the age of 7 back in 1952. And it’s like I’m discovering right alongside him – our heritages and family history. I’m so grateful to be able to do this trip with him,” she shared on August 26.
Prior to their Europe trip, Catriona and her mom visited Kyoto, Japan in June days before the latter’s birthday.
“I always thought being a mother was just about seeing and helping your little one grow, but it’s been so empowering seeing you grow alongside me. You’re constantly teaching me so much and it’s been so healing and joy giving to see you live out your dreams and heal your inner child. I love you to the moon and back mama,” Catriona wrote in her birthday message for her mother in a post back in July. (PUSH)
