CATRIONA Gray and Sam Milby are in Japan for their first overseas trip since becoming engaged.
On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2018 titlist shared photos of the pair enjoying their vacation abroad — their first since announcing their engagement last Feb. 16.
Sharing snaps of them at the Tokyo Skytree in Japan, Catriona wrote, “Our first trip as an engaged couple. Exploring the city of Tokyo.”
The beauty queen also posted photos of their romantic stroll at an inner city garden where she had her first glimpse of Japan’s famous cherry blossoms.
“Garden walks. Had my first glimpse of cherry blossoms (ever) along with some of the prettiest flowers I’ve ever seen after walking by this inner city garden by chance. The best travel itineraries for me are the ones that have just enough planning to see your bucket list, but enough free time for spontaneous moments and discoveries like these,” she wrote.
Catriona, 29, and Sam, 38, announced their engagement in February after three years of dating.
The pair — who confirmed their relationship in May 2020 — shared the announcement on their respective accounts along with a glimpse of Catriona’s diamond engagement ring.
“Living in an answered prayer with my best friend. I love you, fiancè,” Catriona wrote in her post.
Prior to their announcement, the former Miss Universe sparked rumors of an engagement after she hinted about being at her “happiest” during a picnic with Sam in Australia last December.
In an interview with Inquirer, Catriona denied the rumors, but admitted that she and Sam have already discussed the possibility of getting married in the near future. (PUSH)
