BACOLOD City – Charged with violating Presidential Decree 533 that outlaws cattle rustling, a resident of Barangay Balugo, Sibulan, Negros Oriental was arrested.
From his house, the 28-year-old Gerry Rizal Morales was taken to the Subulan police station around 8 a.m. on Nov. 16.
Judge Angelita Banta-Alcoran of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 37 issued the warrant of arrest.
It was unclear as of this writing if Morales was able to post bail for his temporary liberty.
The court set the bail bond at P36,000./PN
