BACOLOD City – The Top 3 most wanted person in the municipality of Cauayan, Negros Occidental was arrested at around 1 a.m. on Aug. 10.
Charged with murder, Rowell Tecson, 41, was served with an arrest warrant at his house in Sitio Indangawan, Barangay Manlucahoc, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 61 (Kabankalan City) on July 27, 2017 with no bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty.
According to Police Corporal Mark Joy Conlu, investigator on case, Tecson was a suspect in a shooting using a .357 revolver on July 2015 in Sto. Baslay, Barangay Talacdan, Cuayan.
Tecson was placed under the custody of the Cauayan municipal police station.
Policemen who served the arrest warrant were members of the 2nd Negros Occidental Police Mobile Force Co. Tracker Team, Cauayan police, Police Intelligence Unit of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, Sipalay City police, 604th Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, Regional Intelligence Unit 6, and soldiers of the Philippine Army’s 15th Infantry Battalion./PN
