STEFFI Aberasturi of Cebu province topped the runway challenge of Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
She received the highest number of votes on the Miss Universe Philippines app for her runway video, which was shot at the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway.
Masbate’s Kisses Delavin, who earned the top spot in the two previous Miss Universe Philippines challenges, slipped to number three.
At second place is Maureen Wroblewitz, who is representing Pangasinan.
The Top 15 also included fan favorites such as Ayn Bernos (San Juan City), Leren Bautista (Laguna), Katrina Dimaranan (Taguig City), and Maria Corazon Abalos (Mandaluyong City).
In an Instagram post, Steffi expressed her gratitude and utmost joy over this achievement.
“Words cannot justify how thankful and overjoyed I am for all the support. From reaching 100k followers on Instagram, seeing all the creative memes, being in awe of the fierce versions of the #unsteffablewalk, to ending the week with winning a challenge among this sisterhood of such strong and inspiring women – the overwhelming flow of love truly makes my heart full,” she said.
“We, the contestants of MUP, have given our all to this pageant, so that at the end of the day, we can put a smile on everyone’s faces amidst this trying time,” she added.
Aberasturi made her name as a beauty queen after winning the Binibining Cebu title back in 2018.
She ranked fourth in Miss Universe Philippines’ headshot and video introduction challenges.
