Cellphone technician yields ‘shabu’

ILOILO – A cellphone technician yielded over P20,000 worth of suspected shabu in Barangay Poblacion South, Oton, Iloilo.

Roxas Manuel Insular, 32, sold two heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu for P4,200 to a police poseur buyer.

Police Major Fernand Limbungan of Oton Municipal Police Station (MPS) said they had been monitoring Insular for almost a month.

“Ang iya supply daw sa Iloilo City nagahalin kag gina-distribute diri,” added Limbungan.

A total of four plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 3 grams with a standard drug price of P20,400 were recovered.

Insular is being held at the Oton MPS for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
