BACOLOD City – The Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) warned consumers of establishments posing as authorized payment centers of the electric cooperative.
“Consumers are advised to transact only with authorized Ceneco collection centers such as Alvio, SaveMore Customer Service and accredited collecting banks,” said Ceneco general manager Danny Pondevilla. “Digipay and Ipay are not accredited Ceneco colection centers.”
Pondevilla reminded consumers to settle their accounts and pay their monthly bills to avoid disconnection of electricity service.
The electric cooperative is conducting massive disconnection activities of overdue accounts, he said.
For disconnected acounts, the consumers were reminded to pay their reconnection fees.
Pondevilla clarified that the collecting agents were not authorized to process reconnection./PN
