BACOLOD City – The Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) reminded its member-consumers to settle their pending power bills to avoid power disconnection on New Year’s Day.
Roel Venus, head of Ceneco’s Member-Consumer Integrated Services Division, said their collection centers are open to accept payments during the holidays.
Venus said member-consumers should pay their bills on time. Ceneco would cut their power connection should they be late even for just a month, he warned.
“That is why even on holidays, we still collect payments,” Venus said.
Ceneco’s main office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 29 and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Dec. 30.
Its field offices in the cities of Bago, Silay and Talisay are open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Dec. 29.
In Murcia, Ceneco’s payment center would be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 30.
On Dec. 31, the payment centers in Bago, Talisay, Silay, and Murcia would be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Meanwhile, Venus reminded of a scheduled power interruption on Dec. 29 and 30 in Silay City, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will also be a power interruption in Bacolod City – particularly in areas covered by power lines along Gonzaga, Lacson, Cuadra and Rizal streets – from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Dec. 30.
Ceneco linemen will be doing maintenance works on these days, Venus said./PN
