The Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) is warning its consumers against fake Ceneco social media accounts that have recently emerged online.
In a public statement, Ceneco released the link facebook.com/myceneco for their official CENECO – Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. Facebook page, and ceneco.ph for the official website.
Ceneco also stated that their official social media accounts contain only coop-related news and activities.
They are also informing the public of a scheduled brownout in some areas of the city on Friday May 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ceneco Acting General Manager Danny Pondevilla said the power interruptions are due to maintenance activities being done to ensure stability of distribution lines and to avoid serious damages that will result in major interruptions./PN
