BACOLOD City – Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) called on the public to refrain from stealing service wires here.
Ceneco reported an alleged attempted theft of service wires in front of O’Residences on Lacson Street, Barangay Mandalagan around 5:15 a.m. yesterday.
Such acts would “impair the conveyance of electricity” and cause damage to power lines, according to Ceneco.
The alleged theft was prevented by a security guard.
Ceneco immediately responded and secured the service wires and conductors.
