ROXAS City – A Ceres bus conductor was found dead in Barangay Lawaan.
Police identified him as 25-year-old Reymund Elizares of Barangay Tinaytayan, Dumarao, Capiz.
According to police investigators, his body was discovered by driver Julian Bolinas inside a bus around 4:30 a.m. on April 23.
“Nag inum-inum pa kami kagabi. Makaduha ka beses pa sia nga nagkaun kag nag una sia sa bus para matulog,” said Bolinas.
Elizares was brought to the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital in Roxas City where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Roxas City police station said the victim did not sustain any external wound and ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
