ILOILO City – A police checkpoint in Barangay Poblacion, Estancia, Iloilo recovered an unlicensed .45 pistol from a man.
The 66-year-old Angelino Punzalan was taken to the municipal police station after the gun was recovered from his possession around 10 a.m. on Oct. 31.
Punzalan was a construction foreman from Barangay Zaragosa, Balasan town. His gun was recovered in his black sling bag.
Punzlan faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
