TEARS fell as award-winning actress Cherry Pie Picache met Michael Flores, the man who killed her mother five years ago.
The meeting between Flores and Picache was shown in the documentary “Radical Love,” which aired Sunday.
Picache started crying as soon as she saw Flores, who immediately asked for forgiveness.
“Yun po ang lagi kong dinadasal eh, na makuha niyo po akong patawarin,” Flores told Picache.
Picache then assured Flores that she has forgiven him, but that he still has to suffer the consequences of what he did.
“Kahit pinatawad na kita, kailangan mo pa rin ituloy ‘yung consequence ng ginawa mo,” she said.
In October 2014, houseboy Michael Flores confessed to the killing of 75-year-old Zenaida Sison, mother of actress Cherry Pie, at her house in Quezon City.
In his four-page confession, Flores said he was Sison’s househelp for six months. He said he took shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride and went to Sison’s house at 3 a.m. before committing the crime.
Flores said he used a piece of wood from the broken door and knife from the kitchen to kill Sison. (ABS-CBN News)
