CHESCA Garcia said she couldn’t believe how fast her daughter Kendra is growing up.
The actress-host recently penned an emotional post on Instagram in which she reflected on how much her eldest child has grown.
Sharing pictures of Kendra, the 42-year-old actress said she couldn’t believe how her “once chubby baby is now becoming her own lady.”
“Time has no mercy… I blinked and suddenly she is all grown,” she said of her daughter, who is turning 14 this June.
“Kendra, this school year has taught me that it’s not easy to let you go. I cried for days when you left for your first outdoor trip for school. It was the very first time you were away from mommy and daddy. I also counted the hours till you got back from your day trip,” she admitted.
“And, even on your last overnight retreat I still couldn’t sleep and couldn’t wait for morning to come for you to get home. There is no getting use to this. I simply am not ready,” she added.
As Kendra prepares to leave middle school and move on to high school, Chesca said she couldn’t help but hold Kendra a bit longer “and soak all the great things about having you as my daughter.”
Wrapping up her post, Chesca shared a sweet reminder for her oldest daughter.
“You looked lovely today baby, you always do! You look lovely because of who you’re inside! That’s what I love best about you!” she told Kendra.
Kendra is Chesca’s eldest child with her husband, former PBA star Doug Kramer.
The couple has two other children: Scarlett, 11, and Gavin, 10. (PUSH)
