ILOILO City – Charged with child abuse, a man was apprehended in Barangay Nagka, Batad, Iloilo.
The Batad police served 57-year-old resident Elizerio Balsomo a warrant of arrest and took him to the municipal police station around 6 p.m. on Dec. 13.
Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66 ordered Balsomo’s arrest.
He did not set a bail bond for Balsomo’s temporary liberty./PN
