BACOLOD City — A 1-year-old boy drowned after falling into an uncovered septic tank in Barangay Canroma, Pontevedra town.
His mother, Jennelyn De Los Santos, was busy with laundry and did not notice him slip into their neighbor’s septic tank on Tuesday.
De Los Santos claimed that she was horrified to find her son in the tank.
The mother took her son to the municipal clinic, but he was no longer breathing.
Her husband was out of the house vending food at the time./PN
