BACOLOD City – A buy-bust operation on Christmas day in Purok Cheriza 2, Barangay 27 led to the arrest of seven suspected drug pushers and users.
Police Station 4 arrested Benjie Rubio, 33; Delven Rubio, 27; Arjay Tolosa, 18, of Barangay Handumanan;Jay-R Pantalino, 21, of Barangay Taculing; Anna Marie Sta.Rita, 30, of Barangay Mansilingan; Mitch Alvarez, 33, of Barangay Vista-Alegre; and Kimberly Ganzon, 34, of Barangay 35.
Investigation showed that the police received a complaint from a concerned citizen through a telephone call, saying there was an ongoing “pot session” in the house of a certain Benjie in Barangay 27.
The police said the suspects were caught in the act of sniffing illegal drugs.
Several plastic sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were recovered./PN
