ROXAS City – Two separate Christmas Day vehicular accidents killed two persons in the towns of Jamindan and Cuartero in Capiz province.
The 60-year-old Ruperto Vipinosa of Barangay Linambasan, Jamindan was hit by a motorcycle while crossing the street.
He died while being rushed to the Bailan District Hospital.
The motorcycle driver, 37-year-old Ronald Estanislao of Altavas, Aklan, voluntarily surrendered to the police.
On the other hand, the Christmas Day road accident in Cuartero town killed Alfonso Belonio, 29, of Barangay Ongol, Dumarao.
According to the Cuartero police, Belonio was on his way home on a motorcycle when he crashed into a pickup.
Belonio was declared “dead on arrival” at the Dao District Hospital./PN
