BACOLOD City – The city government is asking for an explanation from the contractor of the Department of Public Works and Highways – City Engineering District for its failure to install early warning devices on an ongoing project.
City Administrator Pacifico Maghari III said a letter was sent to the contractor following two preventable traffic accidents at the drainage system construction area along Araneta Street.
A taxi and a motorcycle fell into manholes.
