ILOILO City – A city government employee claimed that a woman “defamed” her over the phone, a police report showed.
The 57-year-old Evelyn Glumalid of Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala, City Proper said the incident happened while she was in her office at city hall.
At around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday Sarah Jane Celiz of Barangay Ortiz, City Proper called to ask her to pay her debt, Glumalid told the police.
Celiz then uttered defamatory words against her and “prayed” for her death, Glumalid further alleged.
Celiz cannot be reached for comment as of this writing./PN
