ILOILO City – The Sangguniang Panlungsod has approved the General Fund Supplemental Budget No. 6 amounting to P73,354,697 for the service recognition incentive (SRI) of city government employees.
Qualified to receive SRI are regular employees, while job hires and contract of service (COS) workers are entitled to gratuity pay.
The city government has allotted P39,820,000 for the regular employees; each will receive P20,000 SRI.
For gratuity pay, P26,650,000 were allocated for job hires and COS and each will receive P5,000.
There are a total of 1,991 regular employees and 5,330 job hires and COS at the city hall.
The SP added that for job hires and COS to qualify for gratuity pay, they should have at least four months of service in their work.
The SRI and gratuity pay are scheduled to be released before December ends./PN
