ILOILO City – The city government reimbursed the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for their successful antidrug operations.
The refund was given to the following:
- Jaro police station – under Senior Inspector Tranquilino Querubin

Arevalo police station – under Senior Inspector Jose Val Ladublan

Regional Drug Enforcement Unit of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) – under Senior Inspector Kenneth Bermejo

La Paz police station – under Senior Inspector Rey Sumagaysay

Regional Intelligence Division of PRO-6 – under Superintendent Julius Balano

Iloilo City Drug Enforcement Unit – under Superintendent Rogen Morales

Mandurriao police station – now under Inspector Juan Tigaronita (acting police chief)

Iloilo City Proper police station – under Chief Inspector Aldrin Lamaera

Molo police station – under Chief Inspector Marlon Valencia

PDEA-6.
Acting Mayor Jose Espinosa III said the reimbursement from the Office of the Mayor was given to help the police for further buy-bust operations.
The city government cited Iloilo City Police Office director Senior Superintendent Henry Biñas and Senior Superintendent Jesus Cambay Jr., deputy regional director for operations of PRO-6, along with Bermejo and Ladublan for the positive buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of 12 persons and recovery of shabu and other drug paraphernalia in Barangay San Jose, Arevalo on Sept. 13.
The buy-bust was in line with the police operations or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded. (Iloilo City PIO/PN)
