BACOLOD City — In three months’ time, a replica of the city hall will rise in Brgy. Felisa here.

Cong. Evelio Leonardia and Magdalo party-list Rep. Gary Alejano led the groundbreaking ceremony for Felisa’s barangay hall on Monday.

The budget for the construction is P7 million.

Of the amount, P4 million came from Alejano while P3 million was provided by Leonardia, said Barangay Captain Mona Dia Jardin.

The existing barangay hall will be refurbished by constructing a new building adjacent to it.

Alejano said Felisa is lucky for having been chosen by the Magdalo party-list from among the 45,000 barangays in the country.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Leonardia and Alejano, together with Vice Mayor Greg Gasataya, Sangguniang Panlungsod member Roberto Rojas, and Felisa barangay officials led by Jardin, unveiled the architect’s perspective of the project.

Meanwhile, Leonardia said the Department of Agriculture has already allocated P10 million for the rehabilitation of a farm-to-market road (from Bangga Totong to Edmark) in Brgy. Felisa./PN
