ILOILO City – A 32-year-old resident of Barangay Veterans Village, City Proper was shot.
Jobo Gallantes was recuperating at the St. Paul’s Hospital Iloilo. He sustained a gunshot wound on the right arm.
Police identified the suspect as Jerry Noquera of Rizal Pala-Pala 1, City Proper.
Noquera was observed to be under the influence of liquor, police said, adding the suspect was acting unruly. This prompted Gallantes to caution Noquera not to cause disturbance but the latter got irked and shot Gallantes around 1:30 a.m. on March 14.
As of this writing, police have yet to arrest the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
