OPTIMUM Star Claudine Barretto is set to make her television comeback in a series after seven years.

The talented soap opera star will be part of the upcoming primetime series “Lovers/Liars.”

Back in 2009, Claudine transferred to GMA. Some of the projects she did with the Kapuso Network was the drama anthology Claudine and Iglot.

In her exclusive chat with Lhar Santiago for “24 Oras,” the actress admitted that she feels anxious about doing a teleserye again.

“I’ve been throwing up because ‘yung nerbyos ko talaga na sasalang uli ako sa teleserye, kung ano talaga ang forte ko,” Claudien said.

She added, “Pero sabi nga nila, kapag hindi ako ninerbyos, doon ka nerbyusin.”

She also shared her thoughts about her role in “Lovers/Liars” as a successful corporate woman who will fall in love with a much younger guy.

“Well, that really happens in real life, lalo na ngayon. It’s more accepted na by everybody and there’s nothing wrong.”

Joining Claudine in this project are Shaira Diaz, Yasser Marta, Rob Gomez, Lianne Valentin, Rob Gomez, Sarah Edwards, Polo Ravales, and Christian Vasquez.

Lhar then asked Claudine if it’s possible for her to love a guy much younger than her character in the teleserye.

The actress immediately replied, “Sa totoo lang, hindi.

Mas older pa, older men, yeah. Kasi, parang I always see ‘yung mga nephews ko na parang iniisip ko, ‘Ay, kasing age lang ni Cholo ‘to or nung ibang pamangkin ko.’” (gmanetwork.com)
