CLAUDINE Barretto has joined her sister Gretchen Barretto in offering their support for Bea Alonzo amid the latter’s apparent falling out with long-time boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
Bea posted on her Instagram Stories a photo of the flowers sent to her by Claudine, along with a handwritten note that says, “Love and more love.”
Responding to this, Bea wrote, “Thank you, ate!”
In the wake of rumors linking her niece Julia Barretto to Gerald, Claudine aired her support for Bea by leaving a comment on her Instagram page, saying, “You are loved.”
Gretchen, for her part, was the first to show support for her “Magkaribal” co-star by also sending her flowers and a card that read: “Sending you love. Love, ate Gretchen.”
Both Claudine and Gretchen are known to be estranged from Julia’s mother, Marjorie, who has since came to her daughter’s defense by reminding critics to “stick to facts.”
Though she has yet to give her official statement, Julia appears to be unfazed by the controversy in an Instagram post she shared showing a photo of her holding a cup of coffee, captioned, “The difference between coffee and their opinion is – I asked for coffee.” (Push)
