BACOLOD City – Ten individuals were taken to the San Carlos City police station during the recent Good Friday. Cops caught them allegedly for illegal cockfighting in Barangay Buluangan at about 2:09 p.m.
Twelve fighting cocks were also recovered and cash amounting to P600 was seized.
The following suspects face a charge for violation of Presidential Decree 449: Nicol Arnaiz, Niño Mel Golben, Jay Baguio, David Enad (all residents of Barangay Buluangan), Marciano Maasin, Roel Salado, Cresente Sumalinog, Wilfredo Bayot, Dennis Zabala, and Antonio Rosales (all of Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental)./PN
