CAPIZ – A 24-year-old resident of Barangay Agkilo, Panitan was shot dead at a cockpit arena in the town’s Barangay Conciencia.
The suspects in the death of “Lloyd” on Sunday afternoon were “Ryan,” 26, “Ralden,” 48, and “Boyet,” 58, all from Barangay Quois, Panitan.
According to the Panitan Municipal Police Station, there was a pre-existing conflict between the victim and the suspects.
Before the shooting incident, the parties allegedly encountered each other where the victim challenged the suspects to a “rematch.”
The Panitan police also found in their records and from the barangay blotters against “Llyod” when he was still a minor.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Bailan District Hospital, but eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Four unfired cartridges of a .45 pistol were recovered at the scene of the incident.
At present, the police are conducting a hot pursuit operation against the suspects./PN
