COLEEN Garcia added another feather to her cap after winning an international award for her performance in the movie “Kaluskos”.
On her Instagram page, the actress said that she is honored for her work to be recognized at a film festival in Venezuela.
“Yesterday (December 2) I woke up to the exciting news that I won Best Actress at the El Grito International Fantastic Film Festival in Venezuela!” she wrote.
Coleen extended her gratitude to the jurors of the film festival for giving her the award.
“Thank you so much to the jury for selecting me. I am so honored!” she posted.
She also thanked the director and the producer of the film saying, “Thank yooouuu, Direk @manru and @viva_films, for the trust, and for giving me the opportunity to play Rebekah.”
She also expressed her gratitude to the Lord for the newest milestone in her career.
“Thank you, Lord, for carrying me through all of it. I learned a lot from this project, and working on it really reminded me why I love what I do!” she posted.
“Kaluskos” is Coleen’s first suspense film.
She shared that she had been yearning to play a role like the one she played in “Kaluskos” for a long time now. (PUSH)
