BACOLOD City – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in this city will conduct voter registration in Robinsons Place-Bacolod beginning today, August 12, to August 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

They would also cater voters applying for transfer, reactivation, correction of entry, and Register Anywhere Program (RAP).

The Comelec-Bacolod added that only 500 slots are available for regular applicants regardless of transaction and 100 slots for persons with disabilities, senior citizens and pregnant women.

“This will be on a first-come, first-served basis. And only persons with requirements will be given queuing number,” the Comelec-Bacolod added.

Voter registration for the 2025 midterm elections will be until September 30, 2024. The RAP, meanwhile, will be available until August 31.

RAP, which was launched on February 12, aims to provide convenience to applicants because they can register in Bacolod City even if they live elsewhere.

The Comelec-Bacolod also advised Bacolodnons that during the six-day satellite registration there will be no registration at their office in Bays Center./PN
