BACOLOD City – Two employees of an agro-industrial company were held up while collecting cash from a store on Santiago Reyes Street, Barangay 2 Poblacion, EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the victims as supervisor Bes Diego De La Noche, 34, and junior salesman Emmanuel Yu Duyungan, 39, of Candido G. Martir Agro-industrial Development Corp. based in Barangay Mansilingan here.
Both are residents of Mansilingan, too.
They were at James Rey Store owned by Margie Lyn Sepida around 1:35 p.m. on Monday when two people clad in black jackets and helmets held them up at gunpoint and took from them around P22,800 worth of cash and valuables.
Of the amount, P18,000 cash was their collection, P800 was from Duyungan and P4,000 from De La Noche. Duyungan also lost a cell phone worth P10,000 and automated teller machine cards.
The suspects escaped toward this city. Police were still hunting them down./PN
