ILOILO City – A construction worker was arrested for selling illegal drugs in Barangay Santa Cruz, Arevalo district, a police report showed.
Sixto Maquiling was detained at the Arevalo police station.
Operatives identified Maquiling as a “drug surrenderer” – suspected to be involved in the drug trade, he turned himself in to the police last year as part of the nationwide antidrug drive.
A poseur buyer bought from him a plastic pack of shabu for P800 at 11 p.m. on Friday, the police report stated.
Fourteen more sachets of shabu were seized from him after he was frisked, said the police./PN
