ROXAS City – A construction worker was found dead along the road in Barangay Salocon, Panitan, Capiz.
Joemer Andrade, 45, was believed to have died in a “hit-and-run” incident, a police report showed.
He sustained injuries on the head, the report added.
According to police investigators, shards of glass believed to have come from the vehicle scattered on the area where the incident happened.
Andrade’s sister Violeta Magtano believed the he was hit by a vehicle and the driver fled the scene.
“Nag-inum pa sila kagabi upod sang iya migo kag gin dulong pa sya puli. Wala kami kabalo nga nag balik pa sya gali,” told Panay News.
Magtano asked the public to inform the police for any details which may lead to the immediate arrest of the suspect.
“Ginapanawagan namon kun sino man nakabunggo sa utod ko nga tani sabton mo man ang natabo,” she added./PN
