ANTIQUE – A construction worker was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 4, San Jose de Buenavista town.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Scottie,” a resident of the aforementioned barangay.
At around 8:21 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, a poseur buyer exchanged P1,500 in marked money with the suspect, who in turn handed over a sachet containing suspected shabu.
Joint operatives of the Antique Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Antique seized approximately 20 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P160,000.
The suspect was detained at the San Jose MPS. He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
