ANTIQUE – A 24-year-old construction worker landed in jail after he attacked a police officer in Barangay Poblacion, Caluya town.
The suspect was identified as Flonyr De San Jose, a resident of the aforementioned town.
Caluya police said De San Jose and his group figured in a commotion during the town’s celebration of Tatusan Festival around 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, April 20.
Officers of the Caluya Municipal Police Station (MPS) responded. Upon introducing himself, Police Corporal Third Saragoza, 35, was punched on the stomach by the suspect.
De San Jose was detained at the Caluya MPS for proper disposition./PN
