BACOLOD City – A construction worker was apprehended following a complaint for theft.
The 43-year-old Rodelyn Arias of Barangay 6, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental was suspected to have stolen construction materials of complainant Ginalyn Gargar of Barangay Talubangi, Kabankalan City.
Gargar told the Kabankalan City Police Station that the incident happened at around 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 3 in Villa San Jose, Barangay 6.
Barangay 6 tanods Bemar Santillano Sanisit and Danilo Castillo Fernandez allegedly caught the suspect in the act of carting away a steel bar worth P4,000 and two boxes of cutting diskc worth P1,200.
Arias was detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station./PN
