‘Continue to have faith’: Kris Aquino offers hopeful message in trying times

KRIS Aquino took to Instagram over the weekend to encourage her followers on the social media network to believe that things will “get better” in these difficult times.

Aquino referenced the Taylor Swift song “Soon You’ll Get Better” with same words in the title, and in Aquino’s message she said, “We must constantly remember, we’re in this together.”

On June 23, Aquino looked on her way to ending her break from the limelight as she announced inking a contract with talent management firm Cornerstone.

References to that deal were announced on Aquino’s social media channels but those appeared to have been taken down.

Aquino, 49, has been on a two-year hiatus from showbiz. She was due for a comeback in 2019, but that proved to be a tumultuous year instead.

It saw her high-profile legal battle with her former business manager, subsequent loss of endorsement deals, her aborted film return, as well as her bout with an autoimmune disease.

According to one report, plans for a TV show on a different network to be hosted by Aquino and set for a late-July pilot have supposedly been “halted.”(ABS-CBN)
