ILOILO – A police officer reportedly hanged himself yesterday in his house in Barangay Purok 1, Pavia town.
He had the rank of Staff Sergeant and assigned in the Explosive and Ordnance Division of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office.
A neighbor found him around 5:20 a.m.
The cop was reportedly living alone. He had a wife working abroad.
Police were looking into couple’s quarrel as motive in the incident./PN
