ILOILO City – A motorcycle-riding police officer was hospitalized following a vehicular accident in Barangay Jelicuon Montinola, Cabatuan, Iloilo yesterday.
Police Staff Sergeant Marvin Fondales, 41, was a resident of Serrano Street, Cabatuan and assigned at the New Lucena police station.
According to the police, Fondales was bound to their station around 7:45 a.m. when his motorcycle crashed against a canter truck driven by Jestoni Tabaleon, 29, of Barangay Dasal, Sibunag, Guimaras.
Tanaleon was detained at the Cabatuan police station./PN
