BACOLOD City – A member of the Philippine National Police lost his service firearm during a road accident in Sitio Tanquinto, Barangay Mabini in Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Sep-John Plamonte Busog, 40, a member of the 2nd Maneuver Platoon of the Regional Public Safety Battalion-18 based in Barangay Mabini, Escalante City, was on his way back to his mother unit when he fell from his motorcycle around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 9.
Plamonte lost consciousness. A passerby rushed him to the Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo Memorial District Hospital in Escalante City.
When he regained consciousness, Plamonte could no longer find his Glock 17 .9mm pistol.
Plamonte was a resident of Barangay Robles, La Castellana, Negros Occidental./PN
