CAPIZ – The Capiz Police Provincial Office apprehended the No. 4 most wanted person here and the No. 7 most wanted person in Roxas City.
Joseph “Nonoy” Dela Peña was arrested for violating Republic Act 10883, or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.
The arrest was made by the Roxas City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Division 6, and Highway Patrol Group Capiz on Tuesday morning, Dec. 12, at Pueblo de Panay in Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City.
Authorities were armed with an arrest warrant signed by Regional Trial Court – Branch 17 Presiding Judge Lorencito Belo Diaz in Roxas City, dated Nov. 30, 2023, with a P300,000 bail bond.
Dela Peña is now under the custody of the Roxas City Police Station./PN
