ILOILO City – Jimmy Dua faces an illegal gun possession charge.
Officers in Banate, Iloilo seized from him an unlicensed firearm on Saturday, a police report showed.
The 52-year-old resident of Barangay Zona Sur, Banate was arrested and detained at the municipal police station.
Police spotted him at around 12:30 p.m. carrying a 12-gauge shotgun loaded with two live ammunition in Barangay Magdalo, Banate.
Dua may be charged with violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
