ILOILO City – The police of Passi City still have no suspects in the shooting of a man with a nervous breakdown.

The 54-year-old Jovan Tecson was shot five times Barangay Quinagaringan Grande, Passi City on March 26 yet. He was walking home to Barangay Canabajan, Calinog town.

The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. The shooter, a man, was believed to be riding a motorcycle, said Superintendent Ruby Gumban, Passi City police chief, citing statements from nearby residents.

But the city police declined to make hasty conclusions. Other witnesses claimed two vehicles passed by the walking Tecson just minutes before bursts of gunfire were heard. These were a white car then a motorcycle.

From what the police so far gathered, the man on the motorcycle was wearing a black jacket.

According to family members, Tecson was suffering from a nervous breakdown, said Gumban./PN
