“We are sure…because all her personal belongings, money, and cellular phone were recovered in the crime scene,” said Pavia police chief, Major Rolando Araño.
He also said investigators were gathering evidences and reviewing footages from closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras where the gunman possible passed after shooting the victim.
The police will also check the messages and calls registered in the victim’s phone.
“We are planning to call sa nagapanag-iya sang number nga naka-contact nya that day,” said Araño.
Frange was pronounced dead at the Western Visayas Medical Center for a gunshot wound on the lower jaw.
The shooting happened at around 7:15 p.m., after the victim and the suspect had a brief talk.
Frange was heard telling a man on a motorcycle, “Sige lang, imo lang na kwarta mo, indi ko kinahanglan kwarta mo.”
The man quickly left toward Iloilo City after the shooting. He was wearing a helmet and driving a black motorcycle.
